Tim and Ed were the perfect match for my off-grid house build in the central highlands. The remoteness of the location and the occasional challenges of weather needed builders who were agile, flexible, committed to the project and sympathetic to the design. As it was not practical for me to be on site for much of the time, Ed also took on the role of project management, a task which he did seamlessly and with skill.

Tim and Ed, and many subbies, were happy to bunk down in the shed, which helped to maximise productivity and accelerate the timeline. they promised lock-up by Christmas which they achieved and the quality of their work was excellent.

What I like most about Ed and Tim is their attitude and work ethic. they are top guys. their music taste on site was, at time, questionable, and their jokes need honing, but that will come with age….Get them on board, you won’t have any regrets.

Jamieson Edwards (JE) were recommended to us for a renovation on our 50s house in Mount Nelson. It was a great decision and we immediately felt that we had made the right choice. Ed and Tim emphasised in the first meeting that client communication was a key feature of their business model. This was evident throughout the project. We always felt informed of project progress, management of subcontractors, what other work they had on, timing of various phases etc. This gave us a lot of confidence as the build progressed and allowed us to keep track of expenditure.

As far as design is concerned Ed and Tim were very creative in their ideas, practical in the execution of the work and were clearly dedicated to getting a high quality finish. Like many projects on older houses, there is sometimes a need to review designs and discuss options. All of these meetings were client focussed and made the whole process much easier than we have experienced in the past. The entire JE team are very easy to work with and client focussed. Their selection and management of subcontractors was also a standout. Every person who came on site shared the same passion for quality and client service. From electrical to plumbing, all trades were well planned and communication was excellent.

At the completion of each phase of work, the site was left in excellent condition. We even had comments from our neighbours about how easy it was to have the team on site from their perspective.

If we were to undertake another renovation we would engage Ed and Tim again without hesitation. We are delighted with the outcome.
