Project Amy is a strata-titled build positioned at the rear of an existing property, designed to make maximum use of a limited footprint. The home features an open, combined kitchen and dining space that’s been carefully planned to feel generous and functional. Throughout, premium selections and finishes have been used to elevate the feel, resulting in a modern, stylish home that delivers a high-end look and high usability despite its compact scale.

Challenges and Achievements

Challenges
Working within a constrained footprint meant spatial efficiency was key. There was no room for wasted circulation or awkward spaces. The design had to ensure light, ventilation, and flow while respecting strata constraints and positioning behind another dwelling. High-end finishes and details also needed to be carefully coordinated so that quality was not compromised by the limitations of space or site access.

Clever window placement and open-plan living create light-filled interiors that feel bright and spacious, while the home’s rear position provides privacy and a true sense of retreat.
