Originally designed and built by an architect in 1974, this project involved a comprehensive internal renovation aimed at modernizing and enhancing the space.
Key updates included new windows throughout and a complete overhaul of the joinery, incorporating bold, vibrant colors that reflect the client’s unique style and playful approach to the redesign.
The upgrades focused on improving both the functionality and efficiency of the space, while preserving the original character of the home.
The original 1974 design featured unconventional lines and challenging angles. The existing geometry demanded a high level of carpentry skill and precision to ensure every junction, join, and detail aligned seamlessly.
Integrating high-performance glazing upgrades and energy-efficient detailing within the constraints of the original structure required creative problem-solving and careful coordination between trades.
