Project 344 is a high-end renovation and extension that thoughtfully reimagines an existing character home into a refined contemporary residence. Challenges and Achievements

Constructing new pile foundations alongside a heritage home required extreme care to avoid vibration or movement that could compromise the existing structure. This was overcome through staged works, temporary support, and low-vibration installation methods that protected the original building throughout construction.

Integrating modern construction with the existing character home also presented structural and detailing complexities. Through thorough investigation, careful engineering design and thoughtfully planned connection points, the new extension was seamlessly tied into the original structure, strengthening performance while preserving the home’s architectural integrity.
